Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay was born 15 September 1915, in Ogden Utah. Fawn MCKAY, who was born into the Mormon Church's First Family used her literary talent and expertise in research to write an intriguing psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945, under the name No Man is a Master of My History, she used both. That title was taken from a funeral sermon delivered by the founding father of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844 when he startled those he addressed with the words"You don't know me" you never knew my heart. There is no one who has ever known about my past. I'm not able to tell my story. Fawn an older woman, aged 29 has written: "Since that moment of candor, at least three writers have taken on the challenge." A lot of people have detested him while some have praised. There are a few who have come to an assessment. The documents aren't there, it's that they're so inconsistent. It's a daunting task to put together these documents, separating first-hand accounts from the third-hand versions and then combining Mormon narratives with non-Mormon ones into a coherent mosaic. This is fascinating and fascinating. FawnBrodie was a dedicated devotee to her profession. The fruits of her research and writing made her immortalized with the world's attention: Thaddeus Stevens. Scourge of the South (1959) The Devil Drives. Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon and An Intimate Historiography (1974).
