Walker is born the 26th of June on the 26th of June, 1976, at Philadelphia Pennsylvania United States of America. She is of African-American heritage and is an American national. She is the daughter of Harvey Welker (a Native American father) and Julie Welker (an African-American mom). She is the daughter of both a Native American father as well as an African-American mom. Walker has graduated from Germantown Friends School located within Philadelphia's Germantown district in the year 1994. In 1998, she graduated from Harvard College with a Bachelor's degree. Welker got married to John Hughes in Philadelphia, who was a known marketing director. They have two daughters. The couple began a relationship in 2014 with each other. John is husband to her, and four years older than she. Because their relationship was so well-established, they decided to go to the next stage. They got married on March 4, 2017.
