Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. Her father is an Argentine with Scottish as well as English descent. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish and English. She was the first born of a family that included six children. Four are her siblings of the marriage that she had with Taylor's dad. They lived at Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria region in London. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatizing and that she was unable to study English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House, a school located in the same area as Northlands was required to take her. Then, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in productions of the school. After she turned 16, she dropped out of school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actor from a young age. Her dreams were realized after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
