Lucy Liu, an American voice actor, producer and singer is also an accomplished actor. Lucy Liu is beautiful and clever actress. A lot of Asian actors who want to become famous starlets in Hollywood admire Lucy Liu. After several appearances in popular TV series, she became famous when she was cast on the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. After her popularity, she was offered important part on the shows Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). The actress then gave an amazing performance in the role of Japanese criminal lord O'RenIshii, in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. In this period she was the main character in a few flops at the box office including Rise: Blood Hunter. Later, she became voice actor for animated movies, such as Kung Fu Panda. Southland is a critically acclaimed police drama that Liu starred in on a regular basis, was a role which allowed her to be a an internationally acclaimed actress. Liu chooses her roles with care to avoid becoming typecast in this competitive industry. Though she has embraced the roots of her family, she hasn't allowed it to hinder her creativity.
