Harry Edward Styles is an English musician, singer, and musician. He was one of the members of One Direction. In Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There as well as three of his classmates He formed his own band, White Eskimo. They won the 2009 Battle of Bands thanks to their excellent performance. The musician was always fascinated by the arts, however he also wished to become an attorney, physiotherapist or even a scout. Working part-time in a local bakery was his first occupation in order to provide for his family. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and did Is not She Lovely, the Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. This was the reason that the group split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge that suggested Harry Styles to be part the group that would later be called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in the year 2010. The five-piece band was sponsored by Simon Cowell. They performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were one of the best contenders for the contest. The group was placed in third position after Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which took home the prize. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell was a millionaire under a contract with One Direction.
