Zoe Saldana was born on the 19th of June, 1978, in Passaic, New Jersey, to Asalia Nazario and Aridio Saldana. Her father was Dominican as was her mother, while her father is Puerto Rican. Her family was from Queens, New York. In 2010, she moved along with her family to Dominican Republic where they spent the next 7 years.
