Paula Patton, an American producer and actress, is known for her roles as the lead character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action-spy thriller) and Precious (a dramatic). Growing up living in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, Patton had many desires. The mother of her children was a film fan and urged her to enjoy movies as a young person. Paula participated in co-curricular school events, and she particularly enjoyed acting. Paula was a fan of acting with her classmates, and she participated in the school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School offered her numerous opportunities to act throughout her schooling and she picked acting for a profession. She enrolled at The University of Southern California in the summer program, and was awed by her experience. She won a three-month assignment producing documentaries on behalf of PBS. After completing the assignment, she began becoming an assistant to the production team for television documentaries. Her next step was to produce documentaries. Her work was rewarding however, she always wanted to pursue a career as an actor. Her acting journey began with a small role on the movie romantic comedy Hitch, alongside Will Smith. In the years since, she has been in numerous film and television programs.
